Feel the burn

I can definatly feel that I've been outside. Just barely uncomfortable. Slightly pink. This is the latest plant baby shot. :o) The bigger clover looking leaves are the sweet basil. And the smaller bushier looking ones are thyme. The rosemary and coneflowers are way behind in size.
Our front bed has new mulch now. The place we usually go only had the red, so I decided to try it out. I usually get the black. I'm undecided on the red. It definatly brightens up the place. It stains your hands too. We just put down some landscaping timbers for now until I figure out my stone situation. I wasn't pleased with what walmart had. I'll keep looking. I figure Lowe's will have something I'd like. There are some at walmart that I like for SOMETHING, I just don't know if it's good for the front long bed. Still haven't moved the pots and fireplace around. Its all still just crammed on the one end of the patio.
Angela brought Nick and Mia to see the puppies while they are still here. They will go to Aberdeen human society soon. ( they have a no kill policy ). :o) Lee took them on a tractor ride through the yard. They each had to do it twice.
This evening we took a walk all over the newly bush hogged places. The distance across the place starts looking bigger a farther when all that brush is knocked down. I put a picture of the area out in front close to the road.
That's about all that's been done today.....

That's great that Aberdeen's shelter has a no-kill policy! Maybe someone will take all the puppies home soon. :)

Ok, I finally got my pictures on here, but they are all jumbled up at the top. I gave up on getting then in the right places. I can't get them WHERE I want them in my posts!
