If you've never heard that song then that title makes no sense to you. :o) Today has been such a long day! And cold! I'm not liking the 30 degree stuff. Went to walmart for groceries and of course the bell ringers are out in full force now. Ughhhh. The same lady is there every time. She should know my disgusted face by now.....lol. She sounds like a robot when she yells...."have a merry christmas, and a happy new year, and have a blessed day! " I mean the same sentence over and over in a monotone voice and while she looking off into the distance at the sky or something. Sooo sincere. At least we have one holiday out of the sentence now. LAst week it was have a happy thanksgiving, merry christmas, and happy new year and have a blessed day! LOL. Why stop there? May as well throw in valentines day, st patricks, easter, good friday, memorial day, 4th of july, labor day, and Halloween. And happy birthday too. IT's so funny because when you walk by and don't put anything in the bucket it's like she cussing you out in her head but saying her long merry christmas etc. LOL....she yells it even louder at you. They could really make a good SNL skit out of that.
SO this chilly weather prompted me to make some tasty shrimp chowder. Yum! What is it about cold weather that makes us want to eat out of a bowl? And read. I bought a new book to knock out this week. Another James Patterson. The 6th Target is the title. I wish I would have had it when I was sick. I can really knock a book out when I'm sick and there is nothing else to do but lay in bed. I made up for my bumness today though. I really did some tidying up. My kitchen is spotless, my laundry room was really in need of clutter control so I got it cleaned up and cleaned up the computer room. IT gets so messed up so quick. Tonight we watched Hancock. It wasn't exactly what I expected. I'm glad it was free really. If you go to Movie Gallery and they don't have movie there that is a 'guaranteed' one, they give you a slip to rent it for free when you come back. SO that's how it was free. WE have really been hitting movie gallery lately since it's been cold. I hate going outside! I do like to play in snow though. I told Lee I want to go somewhere with snow and get snowed in for a week or two. I'd like to experience that once in my life. So that is the recap of this exciting monday.

LOL about the bell ringers. I hate walking by them!! I want to stop and say, "OK, this is why I'm not giving you money..." LOL
Brandon just said last night that we need to go somewhere that we know it will snow and take some sleds and the dogs. Fun! No idea when we'd get to do that though...but it would be fun!
