From Florida

Well, I just typed out a long post and erased it somehow. LOL. So I will RE- type. Probably a shorter version. The weather had been kinda crappy down here. Rainy. Yesterday we went to pier park and ate at Five Guys Burgers and Fries for lunch. They are delicious! If you every have the opportunity to go, go. We wish they would put one in Tupelo.
Last night we went to Margaritavilled for supper. I love that place it is loud, but fun. Every hour or so a giant salt shaker comes out of the ceiling and they play margaritaville while everyone claps and sings. At about 9:30 The Barry Fish Band started playing. They were pretty good. The drummer was a woman! She rocked! Emily ordered her first drink ( she turned 21 this week ) she got it in a souveneir glass so she now has the glass her first drink was served in. Kinda cool.
This morning we went to the beach since it wasn't raining. The waves were pretty big. There were some guys surfing. We had a red hazard flag flying. There was a pretty good undercurrent out there. You could really feel it tugging at your legs. So we didn't play in it too much. Lee had a net he was catching crabs and fish in. He had fun. WE bought stuff to grill. but it rained last night and it was raining this afternoon. So Lee rigged up a little baby grill under an umbrella....it was pretty funny. Very Rednecky in this neighborhood of 600,000 dollar homes. LOL....the house across the road is for sale and we got a little info paper on it.....only 675,000. Chump change.
Brett and Lila are on their way down here. I think they'll be here around midnight. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for them. More later...........
