Our weekend

MY brain is still catching up with the non-stop weekend. We had family down from Indiana. Bonnie, Colton, Emma, and Norah stayed with us. I see that my house is not very kid friendly. Glass tables, no plastic cups, hard bricks around the fireplace to get hurt on.......... Everyone survived though. :o) Friday everyone met at Pickle Barrel. I think it was about 30 of us. It was pretty late when we got done there so we just went home and went to bed. Saturday was the ' party ' day. Lee wanted to take emma and Norah flying so he rented a plane and had Brett come fly them around. They thought that was cool. After that was done it was time to go to the community center where the party was. We played lots of volley ball. I amazed I can move. After we got done there, we all went back down to the farm and built a fire and sat around it for a long time.... goofed off with some fireworks.........I think we got in bed around 1 am. sunday morning I didn't have too much trouble getting going.........just a little coffee and I was ok. We packed the hall. Not only were a bunch of Hodges visiting, but it was the C.O visit too. We went back to the farm for lunch. There was tons of leftover BBQ. A bunch of us women went to amory at 2:30 to watch My sister's keeper. Arg! I'm pretty sure I will never ever watch that again. There were no men in the place. All you could here was sniffles and snorts. LOL. I think mom cried pretty much from the beginning to the end. It's one you want to watch AT HOME with Kleenex! We went back to the farm for the rest of the evening. Played m0re volleyball, had more fire........etc etc. Today everyone went home. Now it's back to norm. Boring. and quiet.
